Many of my more recent abstracted landscape paintings delve deeper into the emotional realm.  I have introduced elements of form and color that may seem arbitrary, but they are not.  They are meant to excite the interplay between the intellect and the subconscious.  This adds to the richness of the visual dynamic and intensifies the mysterious impact of the experience.

A painting without mystery is a painting without a soul.

Mayhem without soul is just noise.

A work of art should not give you the answer...it should give you a compelling reason to search.

Avoid art that is accessible to everyone, but important to no one.
